Easy to install

The original cover must be removed before the new one cover can be put in place.

After you have removed your old cover, use a flathead screwdriver to pull out the four major attachment clips on the side that is on the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are marked with red on the image below. Also note the tabs that locate slots in yellow that require disengagement in addition.

Replace the old battery with a CR2032 coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery is pointing to the opening in the fob and that the -" negative side is facing the buttons made of rubber.

Re-attach the passenger side mirror cover by aligning the locating tabs. After you've done this then put the fob on the driver's side back in your car and test it. Press the push button at the front of the key. If everything is functioning properly the car should turn on the parking lights and the doors will automatically lock.
