It also boasts 5100 Pa HyperForce suction rating, which is significantly better than the 2,500Pa power of the S6 MaxV and S7.

The S7 Max Ultra's mopping performance was also good, though not the most impressive we've seen. It used a microfiber mop that can absorb liquids, and sonic vibration technology to scrub floors up to 3000 revolutions per minute. This was a bit quicker than the X1 Omni circular pads that rotate at 180 rotations per minute. The S7 Max Ultra's ReactiveAI 2.0 obstacle recognition system was very good. In our tests, it didn't get stuck on any objects, and it stayed clear of power cords, long curtains and other potential obstacles 100% of the time.

2. Narwal Freo

Vacuuming and mopping your floors is a chore that we all hate, but are necessary for maintaining a clean home. It is also a messy and oftentimes smelly job, and can be a challenge to complete since it requires cleaning up the dustbins and water and making sure that debris or hair doesn't get stuck in the traps or brushes. Robots that mop and vacuum have become extremely popular. However, a lot of these machines still require users to manually empty the dust bin, wash and rinse the mop pads. This can be quite a hassle especially if you have to do it several times during the cleaning process or after each cleaning session. We're glad to see that a number of manufacturers are introducing self-emptying robotics that make the whole process much more hassle-free.

The Ecovacs Deebot T9+ (available at The Good Guys for $1279) is one of the best self emptying vacuum self-emptying robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It can map your home, cleaning and mopping, while also spotting and staying clear of obstacles. It can even release an air freshener, which is a pretty neat touch.
